Dinner was a Success!
Well, obviously everyone enjoyed dinner because we barely had any leftovers! The pork chops were so tender that they fell apart which was actually my only complaint because they had bones in them and it was hard to pick them out for the children. I think I will use boneless pork chops next time. I will definitely recommend this meal anytime. It was not hard at all to have a good southern dinner with half of the fat. I used fat free cream of mushroom soup, olive oil and chicken stock just to name a few substitutions. The family never even noticed a difference in the taste. For the banana pudding I used the fat free, sugar free instant pudding and bananas. I mean bananas are healthy right? Ok, I will admit I do not like bananas, so I picked out the vanilla wafers :~). I added up that the entire dinner (including dessert) and it only cost about $6.50. Remember, dinner time is one of the most important times of the day to spend with your family. Enjoy this time together and make lasting memories with your family as you sit down to a good, home-cooked meal.
