Encouragement for Today

Matthew 24:45-47  "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods."

I want The Coupon Clipping Nut to be a place where you leave feeling encouraged and strengthened.  I hope that this verse today is an encouragement for you not to give up when times are tough but to keep up your hard work and keep being faithful in what you have to do.  For some of us that means working a full time job, maybe even two jobs only to find when you get home a load of dishes in the sink, loads of laundry to fold, dinner to cook and time that you desperately want to get in with your family without snapping at them.  For some of us it may be working at home all day, and believe me, it is the equivalence of two full time jobs, only to find that your day has flown by and there are still dishes in the sink, loads of laundry and dinner to cook and you feel like a failure because it is not all finished.  Believe me, you are not a failure and you are not alone either.  You are very valuable and important and your family not only depends on you but they do love you.  Keep on keeping on, even when it seems so easy to give up because when we are faithful in the few things in life, then God will bless you for it.
