Free Templates That Will Help Your Home Run Smoother

Just thought I would post a few of my favorite templates that I like to use that help me simplify my life.  I can guarantee things don't get done around my house unless I use a list or schedule of some sort and here are some that I have created by some examples that I have found on the web over the years.

  • House Cleaning List If you are feeling overwhelmed and freaked out then this gives you a great starting point!  If the list is too overwhelming then simply do what you can until you can get yourself caught back up.  I like this one because it reminds me of certain chores that I would normally not think about.
  • Children's Chore Chart Kids need some kind of structure and I especially like this chart because it has pictures for the little ones who cannot read yet.  Offer some kind of incentive to your child for completing all of his/her tasks.
  • Master Schedule Block off about 30 min. to an hour each week for planning for your upcoming week.  It really helps to have structure in the home because time so easily can slip away from you (especially if you are like me and you are a computer addict, lol)
  • Meal Schedule  And although, I already posted this one, I just wanted to repost because this one is so important in our meal planning around here.
I am in no way claiming to be an expert on this because I am still getting accustomed to using schedules myself, but I can tell you that it definitely works!  It doesn't matter what kind of chart you choose to use as I am sure you can Google "chore charts" or "cleaning lists" and find tons of them. They all work the same, simplifying your life and bringing structure back in the home, which we are all guilty of neglecting at times. If I can do it, then you can do it :)
