I Cooked My First Organic Chicken

So I thought I would go ahead and cook the whole organic chicken I bought today. Here is what I did to cook it:
  • I wadded up 3 pieces of aluminum foil and placed them in the bottom of the crockpot. 
  • I washed the chicken and patted it dry with a paper towel.
  • I sprinkled the entire chicken with McCormick's Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning.
  • Then I placed it in the crockpot on top of the aluminum foil and cooked on high for one hour and then reduced to low for an additional 5 hours.
What was the outcome?  I'll give it two thumbs up!  It was so easy to take off of the bone and we used some of the breast for dinner tonight and I still have enough for two more meals.
